Tottenham close to signing David Bentley
The transfer merry-go-round will gather momentum today with Tottenham Hotspur expected to complete the signing of David Bentley, the England midfield player, from Blackburn Rovers. Juande Ramos, the Tottenham head coach, has wasted no time reinvesting the £20.3million raised from the sale of Robbie Keane to Liverpool, although the irony is that the main beneficiaries of the Bentley transfer may prove to be Arsenal, Tottenham's North London rivals.
