Barcelona bid for Adebayor rejected
Arsenal have rejected a £24m bid from Barcelona for Emmanuel Adebayor, according to the Times. The president of Barcelona Joan Laporta wanted to wrap the deal up on sunday but Arsenal are holding out for atleast £30m before considering letting the striker leave. Adebayor has reportedly told Arsenal he wants to stay but only if they reward him with a glittering new deal for his performance last season.
